"No Fair Praying"
By Darci Faulkner

M*A*S*H was an American medical drama/black comedy premiering on CBS September 17, 1972 and ended February 28, 1983, with the finale becoming the most-watched television episode to this day. The show followed a team of doctors and support staff stationed at the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital in Korea during the Korean War. Playing poker was a mainstay for the troops of the 4077th. In this mixed media painting the artist, Darci Faulkner, conveys her impression of Hawkeye, BJ, Margaret, Radar, Klinger and Father Mulcahy enjoying a spirited game of draw poker.
This scene features Colonel Potter as an onlooker and Major Burns can be seen, as he very often found himself, on the outside looking in.
