The 1960's were the heyday of the Rat Pack. Frank, Dino, Sammy, Peter and Joey were frequent headliners at the Sands Hotel. Often, when one of the members was scheduled to give a performance, the rest of the Pack would show up for an impromptu show. In this mixed media painting the artist, Darci Faulkner, as she so often does, conveys the feeling of being a part of the action, being right there. Masterfully, her composition also reveals the fun inherit in the game of poker.
